Suburban Underground Vadders

Travis State School

Now looking away from the water tower and the workshops there is one of the oldest buildings on the right and one of the newest buildings on the left behind the trees. First, the newer building.

This was a 37,000 sq ft ambulatory and non-ambulatory patient ward that also included classrooms.

This is the road leading up to the rear of the buildings. You could still barely see sidewalks through the dense foliage. That’s 7 years of unkempt grass. There was also a tree in a planter to the right that almost completely blocked the way.

I thought this place was doing well until I saw this. I wasn’t really surprised, just disappointed.

Here is looking to the right through the broken window. You can see the broken safety glass all over the floor and on the ceiling you can see that the fluorescent lights are open and missing. I’m pretty sure I saw them all laying in another room somewhere but if someone actually stole them… that’s just sad.

Another shot looking straight through to the other side where you can see a door partially smashed out.

Ok, at this point I thought at least they didn’t smash up the nicer looking older buildings. Fortunately they didn’t smash the sign above indicating that this is the Ambulance Entrance.
