Unfinished Lookout Tower
I couldn’t tell from the road but as I was coming up on the structure it began to look like some strange ruins in the forest.
I could tell now by the rebar sticking out of the top of the concrete layers that this was an unfinished project. It’s purpose however…
It looked like this would have been a really nice garden area with a concrete footpath. To the right was a concrete pad that would have been a perfect place for a picnic table. It was becoming more evident that while this was unfinished, it hadn’t been worked on for a long time and probably never would be finished.
At the foot of the tower I could see where wood attached to the concrete possibly creating platforms. Most of the wood was rotted away and the metal pins that held them in place were rusting badly.
The placement of these walls did not seem to have any method to them. They appeared to be as randomly placed as possible.
