As you can see, there were lots of grates all around the complex but only a few were open and they usually led to something like this.
Another open grate that I found. This one was about 7ft deep and was just a concrete box with wires running from one side to the other. It was probably just a place where they could test the lines so they know where a break might be. If only it lead somewhere. There were many others spread out around the complex and I just recently acquired the “key” of sorts that can be used to open these. I need to go back J.
An empty room in the same building. Not much to say except that the lights are on.
This area was just kind of weird. It almost looked like a picnic or break area but with uncomfortable, oddly shaped seats with no shade. (shade is essential in Texas in the middle of the summer) There must have been something here before that is now missing that would explain this area.
There are only 2 of 5 buildings that even have windows. The rest are like huge grey metal boxes. Very ominous. The blue sign reads: No Trespassing, Property of Ellis county.
