Suburban Underground Vadders

Military Hospital

Strangely enough the open door  did not lead into the building but rather a small water heater closet that was apparently built onto the side probably after it was a hospital.

Inside you can see the original wall and that there has been electrical and computer networking that has been done. I assume that the network was put in while the fraternity occupied the house.

To the right you can look though a hole in the sheetrock wall to an adjacent room where the water heaters are housed and also an uncomfortable looking entrance to the main par of the house. I decided that I would try to find a better place to hang out.

Around on the other side of the back of the building is a back door with a nice overhang to keep the rain from getting to my camera. I spent at leat 10 minutes her waiting for the rain to slow down enough to move around more freely

. This door of course was securely padlocked but kind of bent out like there was something leaning on it from the inside.

This… is the mailbox, just under the overhang.

Now looking away from the back of the building you can see a telephone poll off in the distance, that is where a road curves around and comes within about 30 ft of the back. Also its raining a lot more than it seems.

This looks to be some pretty bad water damage on the archway between the padlocked door and the overhang. As I was taking this picture I could see water running down the wall and as the rain got heavier water started to splash out of this area.

At the base of a boarded up window under the overhang I found a little friend. I let him live, he let me live.
