NEWS!

Hope I got your attention.

The website before you, SUV, will not be around for very long! I have been working on a new website to replace this one and you can find it at:

I think you will find it much more visually pleasing. It's not quite finished though so you will be able to find most of the old stuff here for a while but you should UPDATE YOUR LINKS!

NEWS! : 10/1/2005

Hello everyone, I’ve got an update for you! New expedition Home of The Porcelain God. This place was a manufacturing facility for toilets and we found it purely on accident! Lots of stuff in this update including 95 pictures. Hope you enjoy.

NEWS! : 4/4/2005

*UPDATE* I have updated the 16 Story Office Building with information sent to me from a Dallas architect.

NEWS! : 2/18/2005

I’ve been pretty slow in updating recently and the truth is, I bought a new camera several months ago. I’ve seen and done quite a lot since then so I am going to go ahead with TWO updates! That’s right, the first, although kind of a small update is definitely worth looking at. On my way to East Texas to visit my parents I met up with Dirtbag and Noah Vale to do some exploring. Noah took me to this unfinished 16 Story Office Building. *UPDATE*It has also been updated with new information as to it's previous purpose! 4/4/2005

The second update is from when my parents decided to take me to something they found. They had been telling me about a school in Louisiana that was complete with a gym, basement and 2 stories of about 40 classrooms.

NEWS! : 9/14/2004   Well, First I have some sad news. My camera was recently stolen and I have to start looking for a new one so for right now I can’t make any updates for really new stuff. Fortunately I have quite a few explorations that I have just been to lazy to post before now. HERE is a hotel in Houston that Porfzilla was kind enough to take Mox and myself to a couple of months ago.

NEWS! : 6/25/2004   Wow, I almost forgot how to update this thing! Sorry for the long wait but HERE’s a new tunnel in Austin. It’s even bigger then the last one. Not even close to as old but definitely larger and longer.

NEWS! :  3/9/2004   Hey, hey, hey! Click HERE for an update that consists of 2 trips to a drain in downtown Austin that CMH4 told me about. First trip was RevSM (me) and Mortomer Faust, and the second trip was CMH4 and I (but they are kind of combined).

NEWS! :  10/22/2003   New place explored in downtown San Antonio. Found it near the train yards and warehouse district called, Merchant Ice & Cold Storage Co. Also, new member page listing for Labial Mental Groove.

NEWS! :  10/14/2003   New update to an old favorite. I was able to go back to the Longhorn Quarry to take some more pictures. I felt like the pictures that I had just didn’t do the place justice so I found time to get a few pics and updated with the current status of the location. Check it out Longhorn Quarry– revisited.

NEWS! :  9/29/2003   We’ve  got a new update for ya! Just recently visited a large facility in Austin used to treat and teach the Mentally Handicapped and Mentally Retarded (MHMR). ) It’s called the Travis State School (Thumbnails now included! – Even if when you put your mouse over the thumbnails the pointer finger does not show up, click it anyways, the coding is weird)

NEWS! :  9/15/2003   I Finally decided to put up a page with desktops! New page under Expeditions or click on the link here: Official SUV Desktops. They are all 1600X1200 for super quality. Send me an email if you have a favorite that is not listed. Also, don’t be afraid to click on the link because this page actually have thumbnails.

NEWS! :  9/8/2003   On my way to Dallas for Quake Con and on my way back I was able to explore the Superconducting Super Collider (SSC) in Waxahachie, TX. This was just me the first time and on the way back Allva and Dallas-Winston (aka Dirtbag) joined me. This is a long one (12 pages) so enjoy!

NEWS! :  8/26/2003   Waco Gov. Building. On my way to Dallas to go to Quake Con and to eventually explore the Superconducting Super Collider (coming soon!) I stopped by this building that always catches my attention.

NEWS! :  8/26/2003  Adventures beneath downtown Austin: Dropkick and I explored the Congress Ave tunnels.

NEWS! :  7/22/2003   New update to the Places section: Have some pictures up from a brief exploration in South Austin. Not much history, just a little speculation. Some kind of weird Unfinished Lookout Tower.

NEWS! :  7/17/2003   Oops… Forgot to update this page when I updated the site a week or more ago or more.

Well first we have added a new member, Allva, and added member pages for all of the old members listed.

Also, when first meeting Allva we visited a new place: Charter Behavioral Healthcare, San Antonio. In other words it was our first (confirmed) trip to a real-life mental institution, loony bin, crazy house, psychiatric ward, drug-rehabilitation hospital. Hooray!

NEWS! :  4/24/2003   I’ve been busy ok? J Well after being away from UE and spending a lot of time doing that thing that we all hate, “work” I’m finally back to add a new section to the expeditions page. You should check out the Lone Star Brewery! This one is 7 pages long and has stuff from 3 trips. I have to say that this is one of my favorite places that I have visited so far, ENJOY!

NEWS! :  12/13/2002   Ok… after being away for a long time I decided to skip a few things and bring you a recent expedition, my first outside, but not to far outside of Texas. Check out The “Black Bayou School” under “Places”.  Hopefully soon I will also have completed the pages for the updates for the Longhorn Quarry and Standard Industries as well as yet another new place! I’ll wait to give you an update on that one though.

NEWS! :  9/5/2002  Whew! Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve updated the site but I’ve taken a lot of pictures and have several updates coming soon. The first update is for an all-new and really interesting place. You can view it by going to “Places” and then check out the Military Hospital link where I put up 6 new pages for your viewing pleasure. Don’t forget to check back soon for updates on the status of the Quarry and Standard Industries.

NEWS! :  6/20/2002  I fixed the front page so you should be able to access the rest of the site again. Sorry about any inconvenience that this may have caused.  Updates to follow as soon as I take some new pics!

NEWS! :  6/17/2002 I would have updated sooner but I had a computer crash that wiped out all of my new pics. I do, however, have various other news

First off, we finally had a chance to check out the Hotwells Hotel and found it all fenced in with the front entrance guarded by a person living in a camper trailer. I would have to say that this place is pretty off-limits right now but I think that you may be able to ask the person if you can look around. I’m sure he’s a nice guy if he doesn’t catch you sneaking around without permission.

Also, we made another visit to Standard Industries and got some good shots of the outside of the complex during the day but all was lost when my computer crashed and ate my new pics. Life sucks sometimes.

Last, Thanks to a local fellow explorer (at this point we will leave him unnamed) we are going to have a chance to visit an abandoned and supposedly haunted mental hospital in San Marcos. This place looks really creepy and appears to be a nice place to hang out if you were a ghost. I had some preliminary shots of the place but my computer was really hungry and ate those pics too.

NEWS! :  3/28/2002 Ok well after a long time of nothing new I have finished part of the pages for Standard Industries. This place is really interesting but I haven’t finished all of the pages. Also I have finished a small page containing some neat graffiti at a place called the “steps” at the end of 12th street in Austin. Check it out by going to the “Places” link at the top.
